SPEED BAG – For VICTORY TOURING BAGS / Universal  **DOES NOT FIT HD SADDLEBAGS**

Allows for easy installation of recessed 10″ or 8″ Subwoofer or Midbass/ Midrange Driver

Available with or without the sealed back.

Easily cut and mount a finished recessed speaker into your VICTORY Saddlebags –

This is designed to work with most 8″ or 10″ speakers on the market. Mount depth is 6.5″.

The baffle can be removed to allow full use of the airspace in the bag, trimmed to help with blocking the sound wave from interfering with other speakers in the bag, or left baffled. If left baffled be sure to use a speaker that can operate in .25cf of air space. You may also add internal ports to expand the airspace within the chamber.

The use of a sound deadening material is recommended behind the speaker.

Installation can be done 2 ways. Both Non permanent and Permanent to the bag. Both required cutting the hole in the back of the bag for installation.

Method 1: – Cut hole for insert. Apply Hushmat / Dynamat to surface of bag and back side of insert. Use bolts with locknuts or rivets and secure the insert to the bag in no less than 6 mounting points. The use of sound deadener will create a gasket between the saddlebag and the insert.

Method 2: – Cut hole for insert. Sand surface of saddlebag with 36-80 grit sandpaper. Align and drill 4 holes through the insert for screws/bolts. Apply a bonding agent to the back side of the insert and saddlebag ( ie – 2 part epoxy, panel bond, dynaglass, everglass ) . Install insert into the bag and use the bolt holes to secure a tight fit to the bag and allow the bonding agent to dry. The bolts can remain in the bag. You may then do finish bodywork on the outer edge of the insert if desired.
