Installation can be done 2 ways. Both Non permanent and Permanent to the bag. Both required cutting the hole in the back of the bag for installation.
Method 1: – Prefit the speedbag into the inside of your saddlebag. Mark the area to be cut out for the sound to leave the bag. Drill 2 more auxillary holes to assist in securing the speed bag to the inside of the saddlebag. Cut the hole out of the back side of the saddlebag. Install the speaker into the speed bag and place inside your saddlebag using the 2 factory fasteners and the additional 2 mount holes. This installation is a temporary, easy to remove installation.
Method 2: – Prefit the speedbag into the inside of your saddlebag. Mark the area to be cut out for the sound to leave the bag. Cut out the backside of your saddlebag to the same diameter as the speed bag recess for your speaker to be mounted from the outside in. Bond the speed bag to the inside of your saddlebag using a 2 part epoxy or fasteners. Install the speaker into the speed bag from the outside back of the bag. This method is more permanent of an install, while being able to remove the speaker from the outside of the saddlebag.
